Dingle – Ring of Kerry – Killarney

The Ring of Kerry is a famous scenic loop drive around County Kerry. It is 179km with many small towns and things to see. We started off by doing the Slea Head drive around the Dingle Peninsular. This was a lovely couple of hours with some stunning sites. After a coffee in Dingle town we began the drive on the Ring of Kerry, making our way to Portmagee where we spent the night.

Slea Head and Dingle

The following day we visited Valencia Island where we did a walk out to a point. After that we visited the Skellig/ Kerry Cliffs which are even higher than the Cliffs of Moher.

We then drove to Killarney where we spent two nights. Hiking up Torc Mountain was a definite highlight with incredible scenery. The following day we met up with a friend of Matts who he used to work with for a coffee before heading to Cork.

Not much text in this one, the photos say it all.
